Cito: ‘Doc’s always prepared’
Written by Squirrely Shuckheimer on March 7, 2009 – 11:17 am -The hardest working pitcher in baseball was looking good in the Blue Jays’ 4-3 win over Philadelphia in Grapefruit League action Friday night. Roy Halladay threw three shutout innings, striking out four batters and walking one while allowing just one hit. It seems as though drooling bloggers and beat writers aren’t the only people that pitch a tent in their pants when Halladay throws, check out this quote from manager Cito Gaston:
“Before the game started he was warming up down in the bullpen and there were 10, 15 guys watching him. That’s a pleasure for me.”
That’s 10-15 teammates watching him warm-up, one would be hard pressed to find a player with more respect than that. Now, if the Jays can just round out the rest of the rotation then they might be alright.

I love Halladay. I want to marry him.
The Jays are going to win the pennant thanks to his arm.
